The Red Table Talk host, Jada Pinkett Smith began her career with a supporting role in a television series just like Meghan Markle and Amber Heard. While the ladies are rarely spoken of in the same conversation, recent revelations regarding the Smith family household changed this. Yet, another thing that the trio have in common is that they all married hugely popular figures. In Heard and Smith’s case, both their husbands were in fact significantly more established.

Meghan Markle is still married to Prince Harry. However, Amber Heard’s separation from Johnny Depp was among the most infamously tragic. Up until yesterday, everybody believed Jada and Will Smith to still be married. So, when the former nonchalantly announced that they had been separated for seven years, netizens were understandably shocked. Now her demeanor during an interview she gave has been equated to Markle and Heard’s on X formerly known as Twitter.

Amber Heard’s lawsuit with Johnny Depp and the Suits actress’ complicated relationship with the Duke of Sussex and his family have painted the picture of a manipulative partner in the public’s eyes. Well, Jada Pinkett Smith seems to have struck a similar chord with the online community. The outlandish interview about how she and Will had fooled fans with deceitful appearances did not sit well with most. 

According to netizens, it seems like Jada had driven Will to participate in the facade. Many drew parallels between the Smith’s separation and how Amber Heard had driven Johnny Depp out of the entertainment industry and Markle may have pushed Prince Harry’s family away from him.

Even more than the 7-year-long lie, fans were infuriated by the smug look on Jada Pinkett Smith’s face as she exposed herself and her husband. The slapgate incident at the Oscars when the 55-year-old defended her against Chris Rock by calling her his wife, which Jada also commented on recently, was made all the more preposterous now. Few rallied in support of the couple. For most, it was Jada who had seemingly brought about this controversy like Markle and Heard were believed to have done before. 

Obviously, some brought up the Oscar incident too. The disbelief over the unexpected slap reached an all-time high after this clip.

It is safe to say that the dislike for Jada Pinkett Smith was evident in the comments. Netizens did not hold back their harsh opinions of her.

It surely feels like the beginning of a developing story. Hopefully, Will Smith will come forward to clarify his end of this perplexing story soon too.
