Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ Star, Jenna Ortega Wants to Follow Her “Deep Admiration” for Something Other Than Acting
Started in childhood, Jenna Ortega received global fame for her jaw-dropping performance on Netflix’s Wednesday. In a gothic, dark yet captivating series, the young actress portrayed the title character for which she received accolades as well. Apart from Wednesday, the young actress landed a role in Beetlejuice 2 along with starring in Finestkind. Not only she is an actor but also an author, and philanthropist who is thriving in her professional life.
While the multi-talented actress is succeeding well in her realm of acting, she wishes to grow beyond the same. However, she wishes to follow her admiration for something else as well.
Jenna Ortega wants to expand her career other than acting

Last spring, one of the seven faces of Dior’s #DareInGrisDior campaign celebrated its new unisex scent, Gris. While talking about the campaign with Elle, the 21-year-old actress exposed her desire to expand more in different roles in life. After achieving tremendous success, Ortega revealed she would love to study musical composition. “I have a deep admiration and respect for that sort of thing,” expressed the actress.
It is interesting to note that Ortega once admitted she could not sing or dance, but loved writing. She admitted to writing about anything and everything. Nevertheless, not being able to sing did not stop the actress from loving music as she learned to play the Cello for her role as Wednesday Addams. Her association with the instrument for the show might have added more intensity to her desire to learn to be a music composer.
Well, until she becomes the music composer, the American actress can embrace her love for music in the upcoming season of Wednesday. With the Hollywood strikes’ end, Wednesday was one of the top prioritized shows to resume working on.
Wednesday season 2 is already under production

Despite the early announcement of the second season, the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes delayed the show’s production. However, with things getting back on track, the hasty production began with some supposed changes in the cast. Recently, the news of Thora Birch leaving the show because of an emergency at home came. However, reportedly, she had finished the majority of her filming. Nevertheless, if she would not be able to come back, the producers might have to replace her sequences.
Additionally, one of the actors from the show, Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, would also be written off. But Wednesday Addams fans do not have to worry as she is coming back with her uniquely weird personality for the next season as well. Until she takes up musical composition, one can only wait to see more of Wednesday’s cello skills.
