Arnold Schwarzenegger, ever since the release of Terminator: Dark Fate in 2019, had gone awfully quiet as an actor. While he did keep his fans entertained in the usual fashion by playing with his dogs, cycling, and smoking his stogie, fans missed him on the screen. And given how his hiatus went on for four years, many wondered if the Austrian Oak had retired from acting. However, he made a splashing comeback with FUBAR on Netflix. The series is unlike any other, but not as you may think.

The Austrian Oak chose Nick Santora’s thriller project as his weapon of choice to make a comeback. And he was not wrong to do so because just a few hours after release, FUBAR climbed into the Netflix Top 10 charts in nearly every country where the streamer is legal.

Santora’s project was loosely laid on the same foundation stones as Schwarzenegger’s classic action extravaganza True Lies. However, it made the bond between a father and daughter its focal point. Furthermore, the plot is intriguing and the other cast members consisting of Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, and more are phenomenal in their performances. However, there is no denying that it is essentially Arnold Schwarzenegger’s magic that made the series a success.

The former bodybuilder, despite playing a plethora of roles, including the iconic Terminator, is still best known as himself. Arnold Schwarzenegger is the man, the myth, and the legend. This became as clear as day in the way he responded to the FUBAR reviews on his Twitter account.

Arnold Schwarzenegger wins hearts with his fan interactions

For those who keep Hollywood entities on a pedestal and consider them their inspiration, a simple nod from their favorite becomes a lifetime memory. And in this pyramid of fan dreams, the highest spot is taken by their idol noticing them on social media. And Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are especially fortunate in this area. Not only does the 75 year old actor reply to as many fans as he can, but also regularly motivates those who are trying to live a healthy lifestyle.

His fan interactions on Twitter reached the peak however, after the release of FUBAR. Fans he had made round the globe through years of hard work had all tuned in to watch the series and made sure to let him know what a phenomenal job he had done. They were instead surprised to see how the actor himself had gotten down to thank most, if not every, fan who tagged him in their FUBAR review.

It is also to be noted that the Austrian Oak is not a boomer and knows his way around social media well. Therefore, him replying separately to each fan cannot be categorized as his inadequacy to use technology.

Let’s be real, he is the robotic assassin from 2029. It only shows his gratitude and love for his fans. And while pointing the same, a fan capsulized it beautifully as “Great man, great show,” and we couldn’t agree more.
