Cohen has had his way of inviting any celeb he wants. It is hard to pinpoint any mistake that the host has ever made. But in a recent revelation, Cohen has admitted the mistake he made in the case of the British Royal. It is none other than Meghan Markle. And recently, he has opened up about his mistake and how he feels about it.

Andy Cohen’s ‘huge mistake’

Cohen’s book, ‘Daddy Diaries’, was recently released, and he admitted his big mistake in the same. He described that Markle told him how she was a fan of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Back then, Markle seemed keen to chat on his show, but Cohen thought that she was not a ‘good fit’ and now, he calls this a “huge mistake.” He explained in his book that he found her show Suits to be some kind of simulation and thus decided to shun her request because of the same as mentioned by Mirror.

Despite his failed attempt to call her on his show, he made up for his mistake by being a guest on her podcast, Archetypes.

Cohen on Archetypes

Meghan Markle invited Andy Cohen on her final episode of the Spotify podcast Archetypes name Man-ifesting a Cultural Shift with Trevor Noah, Andy Cohen, and Judd Apatow. Markle admitted that she wanted to be on the show as she was once a Real Housewives fan but just couldn’t get booked. To this, Cohen admitted that not booking her was the biggest blunder in 13 years of the show. When Cohen questioned if she still watches Real Housewives, Markle replied that she stopped watching it as her life had “its own level of drama.”

Markle’s podcast got negative reviews from royal experts in the UK with some calling it ‘boring’ and ‘slow’ and ‘scripted’. Irrespective of all, the podcast managed to get nominated for the People’s Choice Awards in the category Best Pop Podcast of 2022. The Duchess also made many shocking revelations on the podcast, like how Archie’s house in Africa caught fire.
