Sydney Sweeney has been making the rounds in the industry with her start studded roles. Her upcoming movies have set the stage up for a comic book-themed year for Sweeney. From her being the lead of an iconic comic book-based sci-fi Barbarella to her role in the upcoming Marvel movie, the American actress is excited. And so are we. With hotness overloaded, Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney are coming together for this Marvel movie and we cannot just keep calm.  

Sweeney is all set to pair up with Johnson as her classmate and friend in the movie. And fans apart, even Sweeney cannot keep calm as she once revealed her fangirling moment for the famous 50 Shades of Grey actor. She was seen getting candid about it a while ago.

The Euphoria actress revealed in November 2022 how she would hide from her parents to watch Johnson’s movies. In an interview with Variety, the actress admitted amidst giggles that she was a huge fan of Johnson. She said, “My parents didn’t let me watch it” in high school, referring to the movie 50 Shades of Grey. Probably owing to its steamy scenes, Sweeney would sneak the movie into her room and watch it. 

Admitting that she found the 35-year-old actress very hot, she burst into even more shy giggles and faced the screen saying, “I loved working with you,” in, of course, the much-awaited Madame Webb. While two of the most gorgeous women make their Marvel debut, the 25-year-old American actress has all the rights to swoon over the steamy drama actress.

After Marvel heard the fans’ blame for not making enough female-centric movies, it delivered us with a cast that could turn out to be one of the best. Meanwhile, Sweeney’s success only seems to grow.

Sweeney’s rising success and popularity

Sweeney has time and again proved how indispensable her characters are on screen. From the success of her huge role in Euphoria to her lesser screen time roles in Grey’s Anatomy, she has always delivered with the utmost passion. But it wasn’t very bed-of-roses for this Sharp Objects actress. Back when she hadn’t made it so big in the industry, she said, “I was letting my parents down.” 

Although she admitted in an interview with GQ that her friends didn’t provide her with the best support, the actress has come a long way. But fast forward a few years, and here we are with the actress making her name and roles known globally. With two Emmy award nominations and founding her own company Fifty-Fifty Films, nobody can hold her back anymore. And with the upcoming superhero starters, she will definitely make waves as one of the most versatile actresses of this generation.
