The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a lot on their plate at the moment. With a myriad of business deals to handle, along with the Duke’s ongoing court battles with the British tabloids, balancing out must have gone really harsh on the couple. Nonetheless, recent updates had it the couple is looking forward to another Netflix bombshell as a follow-up to their December release, Harry & Meghan. Although officials had not confirmed it yet, sources said the team is already in talks with the streamer for the production. Nonetheless, all of it seems like a distant dream as of now.
As reported by The Sun towards the end of 2022, Netflix has no plans of moving ahead with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Productions. According to the insiders, the streamer will no longer extend its partnership with the Sussexes. As cited by sources to the publication, beyond the ongoing production of Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Documentary, there will not be any more deals signed between the teams.

In fact, a children’s show entitled Pearl, as looked after by Meghan Markle, could not see any daylight. The streamer scrapped the deal before it could get on with the production of the same. However, with the pre-existing works, the authorities have shared positive feedback with the audience. “We value our partnership with Archewell Productions and are excited to share Harry & Meghan series with the world,” shared the streamer. It also added that they “continue to work together on a number of projects, including the upcoming documentary series Heart of Invictus.”
Meanwhile, insiders have considered this a good riddance for the royal family.
