Some actors are so good that a lot of scenes they do become imprinted in the memories of their fans. But out of all of those, there is always one scene that comes to people’s minds first whenever they think of it. And, when it comes to Sydney Sweeney, up until her career today, one of her most iconic scenes is the one where a jaw-dropping fight happens between her and Alexa Demie’s character in Euphoria.

Remember the iconic fight scene between Cassie and Maddie that takes place in the finale episode of the second season of the show? Not only did the fight seem extremely real, but it also made the scene a hundred times more iconic than it already was. Moreover, both actresses not only won people’s hearts but also MTV’s Best Fight award in 2022. The official Twitter account of the channel shared the iconic moment when Sweeney said a few words after receiving the award.

The 25-year-old won the award with her fight scene partner Alexa Demie, who played Maddy in the show. Although, due to Demie’s absence the beautiful blonde had to go alone on the stage for that. And as she received it, she only said one line, “I have to be honest, Maddy might have got the last punch but Cassie has never ever been happier.”

As there are only a few weeks left for the MTV VMA awards, the channel is revisiting its iconic award show scenes from the past year.

Sydney Sweeney won hearts but broke her toe

As iconic as this scene was, it came at a huge cost to The White Lotus actress. Apparently, she broke her toe during the filming of this scene and was accidentally stepped on by Demie. Consequently, the scene had a body double replace Sweeney while she was in the hospital. The Spokane native did not tell her co-star about the broken toe until she finally revealed it on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She even named the toe “Durt”.

This scene will always have a special place in the actors’ as well as fans’ hearts. Let’s see if Euphoria Season 3 returns with many more iconic scenes like this.
