Millie Bobby Brown may be known for her breakthrough role in Stranger Things but she is now working her way into other fields as well. From launching her own makeup brand to starring in various other film franchises, the 19-year-old already has a ton of achievements to her name. But most recently, she has been in the spotlight for two things, the upcoming last season of her hit Netflix series and the actress’ first attempt at storytelling.

Most fans of Millie Bobby Brown know that the actress absolutely adored her grandmother. However, during her appearance at the podcast called Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers, she recently ended up revealing that her grandmother “wasn’t a wonderful storyteller.” Brown went to tell the hosts that she “would agree” with her “because she lost her train of thought a lot.” After a few examples of how her grandmother would tell her yesteryear stories, Brown explained that she was the better storyteller between the two.

The revelation came shortly after the star opened up about her true intentions behind the novel. But during the conversation, Brown revealed that her “Nan would tell a story. And then she’d be like, and then he died. And then and then. And then I fell in a ditch. And then I made a cup of tea.”, leading to a “tangent” and not completing the whole story. She also recalled an instance from before her grandmother’s passing.

The revelation, however, came as a surprise to her fans. Because Brown had recently said that her grandmother was the inspiration behind her new novel. But Millie Bobby Brown had an answer to that question as well.
