Ever since American director James Gunn took over the gears of DCU, it has certainly been on a wild ride. Fans received the first-ever shock with Henry Cavill‘s replacement for Clark Kent with David Corenswet taking over the beloved role. However, with the recent Gal Gadot fiasco, the streak of bombshells seemingly does not end. While no confirmation comes from the director, fans have been taking their wildest guess at who could be the newest faces to star in James Gunn’s revamped DCU. Nonetheless, we have got an official verification.

As Gunn sparked the latest activity on X, a fan curiously asked the director about the swirling rumors. “Jefe… you didn’t cast a porn star as Lex, right?” asked Nick Principe, representing a thousand other curious fans. Although no one thought a James Gunn taking delight at the Blue Beetle Battalion promo at Philadelphia Museum, would reply to the question, the director actually did. Oh my God, you can’t possibly believe that,” wrote Gunn a few hours ago, thus clearing the wild speculations crowding over his future film.

Just when the Universe was delighted to have its Wonder Woman back in the works, James Gunn’s latest decisions have once again created quite a disruption. Despite Gal Gadot’s hint at the third installment being in the works, the latest news called for otherwise. Reports from Variety confirmed that nothing of such sort is happening in reality. The DC studio heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, remain laser-focused on the new features. Thus, they have no future plans to work on Wonder Woman 3. Or at least that’s what the latest updates say, for now.
