Millie Bobby Brown Set to Make an Appearance at the Fan Expo Canada Amidst SAG-AFTRA Strike
This has happened in decades that Times Square sees so many Hollywood A-listers at one time. Alas! it is certainly not for some celebration but to strike against the production houses of the industry. Many Oscar winners like Brendan Fraser and Jessica Chastain rallied on the streets, joining the mass of demonstrators. Both SAG-AFTRA and WGA have demanded better pay and security from growing artificial intelligence that poses threats to jobs. Amidst this fight, Millie Bobby Brown is ready to attend the Fan Expo Canada.
Fan Expo Canada has returned for their yearly tribute to genre fare and fandoms. This convention is a four-day event that offers a wide range of pop culture elements, such as horror, anime, manga, and animation. It has been their tradition since 1995 that the event takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. And this year some of the fan-favorite celebrities, including Millie Bobby Brown, will be meeting their fans.
The Canadian Press recently rolled out an exclusive report that said the Stranger Things star has joined the list of attendees. This is the perfect opportunity for fans to meet their beloved actress, who will be available for pictures, autographs, and panel sessions. Moreover, other celebrities who will appear at the event are Ralph Macchio, Christina Ricci, William Zabka, and Stephen Amell.

Many fans would be thinking that the SAG-AFTRA strike does not allow actors to promote or work on any of their projects. So how come the teen is allowed to appear at this event? Well, Fan Expo Canada has stated that most of the actors who are attending this convention are refrained from talking about their works.
“Autographs, photo ops, and panels will take place as planned and are allowed under the strike guidelines,” read the statement. Therefore, this way fans can still meet their favorite celebrities and the committee is only hoping that the strike does not affect their plans. The event will begin from August 24 to 27 and fans of all ages can come and enjoy it to the fullest.
