Millie Bobby Brown Reflects on Her First Thanksgiving Spent With Her Fiancé’s American Family
Millie Bobby Brown may have aced her American accent. But there are still bits of American culture, like Thanksgiving, that she is getting the hang of. Luckily, her fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, is making it easy for her to seamlessly blend into American life. Bongiovi and his American family have guided Brown in experiencing at least one quintessential tradition. The Stranger Things actress can now successfully check off celebrating Thanksgiving from her cultural to-do list.
Talking about her first experience of celebrating Thanksgiving with her future in-laws, Millie Bobby Brown shared the things that made her fall in love with this tradition.

Millie Bobby Brown was interviewed by People at a pop-up event for her coffee brand Florence by Mills Coffee. In the interview, the actress shared her Thanksgiving experience with Jake Bongiovi’s family. This included his parents Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley and his three siblings. Brown’s favorite part of the celebration was Dorothea Hurley’s “Roast Turkey”, which the young entrepreneur believed to be a “pretty unbelievable” dish.
“Jake’s mom’s cooking was amazing”, added the 19-year-old while describing her “great Thanksgiving”. Millie Bobby Brown called the entire experience her “all-American dream”, which was only possible because of Jake Bongiovi’s “wonderful family”. This is the first holiday season for Brown and Bongiovi as an engaged couple. And now Brown is looking forward to the Christmas celebrations with the love of her life, which is a festival that excites her the most. And fans got a glimpse of that in last year’s Christmas itself.

Brown took to Instagram on November 14 last year, to share a video of her and Jake Bongiovi engaged in decorating their Christmas tree. She used her all-time favorite song by the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ as a backdrop for her video. Both Brown and Bongiovi, dressed in their adorable pajamas, and created a heartwarming video, with a special cameo from one of their cat babies.
The video also caught the attention of Mariah Carey, who has been on record appreciating Brown and opening up about her son’s obsession with the actress. In the latest interview with People, the Enola Holmes actress revealed that Jake Bongiovi hates the fact that she starts her Christmas decorations so early. However, Brown does not really care about that and shared her excitement over getting together with her own family in the holidays, after spending Thanksgiving at the Bongiovis’.
