Millie Bobby Brown Dives Into Uncharted Territory With Latest Florence by Mills Initiative
Back in 2019, Millie Bobby Brown launched her first brand, Florence by Mills, to meet the beauty and skincare needs of Gen Z consumers. Her cruelty-free and eco-conscious approach quickly caught on with its target audience and shook up hegemonic brands like Fenty Beauty, Glossier, and Estée Lauder. Before long, the brand that started with basic skincare essentials like lip oil and face mist branched out into a sub-brand for coffee products, Florence by Mills Coffee, and even a clothing line, Florence by Mills Fashion. Now, it has taken another big step.
Millie Bobby Brown has recently introduced a new collection to her brand- something Florence by Mills has never offered before.

Millie Bobby Brown took to Instagram to announce Florence by Mills’ new Micro Thermal Collection from their Fashion division, months after launching their nightwear collection. The Stranger Things star shared how she had been on the hunt for thermals that not only keep one warm but also feel super cozy and comfortable. The clip switched to Brown in a matching set of Micro Thermal wide-leg pants, a crop cami, and a Cardi- all in pastel purple, one of the brand’s signature shades. "I’m obsessed with this material," Brown gushed, showing off her favorite fit from the collection. Even Dorothy, one of her many pups, gave it a paws-up. Lately, Brown has been leaning into a more minimal, laid-back style, which ties into her personal vibe.

Millie Bobby Brown sat down for an interview with WWD last year, where she opened up about her Gen Z-focused clean beauty brand and her personal fashion vibe. Shouting out Blake Lively and Zendaya as her style icons, the 20-year-old said, “Everything is minimalistic in my fashion right now”. She added, “And that I think portrays my mental state as well”.
For Brown, Florence is more than just a brand- it is a mirror of where she is at in life, evolving alongside her. The actress mentioned that she is steering clear of “anything that’s too fitting” from now on. That said, it appears that Brown is not only prioritizing comfort for herself, but she is also passing it on to her fans, encouraging them to wear the clothes, and not let the clothes wear them.
