For years now, Hollywood fans have been gushing over Jenna Ortega and her stunning performances. However, a well-known actor was recently added to that list. In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, Michael Keaton opened up about working with the 21-year-old on the sets of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The 72-year-old ended up stating, “She’s really special.”
“She showed up and just immediately knew what the tone was,” Keaton continued. While he seemed to be awestruck at the skill of the young star, he could not help but admit that she was “good.” With Ortega taking on the role of Lydia Deetz’s daughter in the film, fans are sure in for a treat when it finally releases. Although the stars seem to be giving the world some insight into the film, fans still have quite a long wait before they can judge the project for themselves.
Although the casting confirmation came out last year, the Warner Bros. Studio decided to give themselves extra time in case another strike broke loose.
When will Jenna Ortega’s Beetlejuice 2 be released?
In March 2023, it was revealed that Jenna Ortega had been cast in Tim Burton’s upcoming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The actress was said to be joined by the original cast members like Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara. While Warner Bros. had already teased their film, they chose to have their fan wait it out by choosing a release date in September 2024.

Although fans might have to wait a while before the film releases, there has been no doubt that Ortega will do justice to the role. After all, it will not be the 21-year-old’s first time playing on the darker and weirder side of Hollywood. This project could even take over the popularity she reached with Netflix’s Wednesday.
