“Mentality to Deal…..” Ryan Reynolds Led Side Wrexham’s Boss Phil Parkinson Sheds Some Light on the Club’s Average Performance in League Two
Paul Mullin is a name that surely brings joy to the faces of Wrexham fans whenever they hear it. Arguably the club’s best signing since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s takeover, Mullin has proved to be a massive asset for the team. However, until recently, the English star striker had been away following his injury during the pre-season friendlies. While Mullin’s absence was surely felt in the club’s performances, Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is still impressed with his squad.
The past few weeks in the Second Division were a challenge for the Red Dragons. Apart from a string of disappointing performances, the team even failed to bring in a replacement for the injured Mullin. However, amid all the chaos, the team has undoubtedly learned a valuable lesson.

Paul Mullin’s absence was indeed a great challenge for the Red Dragons. However, the Welsh side surely put up a show even without the star striker. Not only did Wrexham qualify in the play-offs, but a handful of players also proved their worth amidst Mullin’s injury. Fitting the bill was midfielder Elliot Lee.
Elliot Lee has surely stepped up in goal-scoring areas in Wrexham’s past few matches. The midfielder has already scored six goals in the season and even netted a late winner to help Wrexham reach the seventh spot in the league table. On the other hand, Mullin’s late substitution also gave the fans a glimpse of the incredible attack duo he could form with Scotland striker Steven Fletcher.
