In case the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle would have to contemplate about her life, it would not be a hard wire task for her to summon the details. Since the royal experts and analysts have already laid bare everything on paper, she needs to know. Divorce is still a distant dream come true for many, so the plans post-separation are already plotted on behalf of the Duchess. Although Buckingham would not grant a palace for her as it did for Princess Diana. The fortune she would inherit, however, is no less. 

As reported by Marca, the economic agreement for the Duchess would receive a staggering amount from The Firm in case Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decide to part ways. Although nothing more than flying rumor at this point, the Duchess’s nobility, custody of children, and even the pre-nuptial agreements are all in place. 

How much would Meghan Markle receive if the Divorce plays out?

The outlet citing Daily Mail revealed that there is an alleged clause that reportedly entitles Markle to a staggering six-figure amount of 80 Million in US dollars. The amount would be for the Duchess and her children’s support, given they get to live with her. Custody is apparently the “bone of contention” in a divorce and would put the couple through some exhaustingly long legal perils. 

This agreement is said to have landed the previous divorcee of the Palace in a sea of trouble. King Charles, who had the same agreement with Princess Diana, did not abide by the clauses. It did go down well with the then Prince of Wales, claimed the outlet. 

Will Markle have to give away her royal title?

Following the infamous Megxit, the Duchess washed her hands off Her Royal Highness title as it is. Rules pertaining to divorce rule out as Prince Harry would be restored all his royal patronages over divorce. This does not stand uncertain and King Charles has given his word to his youngest. However, in the case of Markle, the fight would still be prolonged. 

The outlet read that Meghan Markle is all for retaining the royal title. Hence, the Duchess of Sussex tagline is not going anywhere. This would still be applicable even if the divorce plays out since she wants to continue being a member of the British royals.
