When news broke that Prince Harry was traveling to the UK to visit his father, King Charles, who is battling cancer, many hoped this familial crisis would mend the rift between the brothers and bring them back together. However, Prince Harry’s hopes of reconciling with Prince William did not fall through as he rushed back to his wife, Meghan Markle, in the US, to attend a major event. And Markle seems to be all set to greet her husband upon his return from the UK as she eagerly waits for him. 

The actress was recently spotted beaming with joy in Montecito, ready to welcome Prince Harry back home.

Meghan Markle spotted near her $14m Montecito home

Immediately after his meeting with the king at the Clarence House, Prince Harry rushed back to be by Meghan Markle’s side, as the couple has a significant joint appearance lined up for next week. On Wednesday, the Duchess wore a smile as she drove around near her $14 million Montecito residence, eagerly awaiting Prince Harry’s return from his meeting with his cancer-stricken father, King Charles. The Daily Mail spotted Markle at ease behind the wheel of her Range Rover on Los Angeles area roads. 

The Duke of Sussex is due to accompany Meghan Markle at an event commemorating one year until the Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler. The couple’s three-day excursion, reportedly commencing on February 14 as per People magazine, will feature engagements at the Participating Nations Winter Training Camp. Additionally, they will also hold meetings with different individuals from the Invictus community, including team managers, coaches, and competitors.

While Meghan Markle flashed her smile in front of the cameras while waiting for her husband, Prince William chose to step out of the public spotlight to focus on Kate Middleton.

Prince William broke his hiatus from the public eye 

Prince William took a break from royal duties in recent weeks to focus on caring for his three children, as his wife, Kate Middleton who is recovering from abdominal surgery. According to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge will not resume public duties until Easter at the earliest. However, on Wednesday, the Prince of Wales resumed his public responsibilities, presiding over an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle and attending the annual fundraising gala for the London Air Ambulance. 

Despite resuming his official responsibilities, sources close to Prince William have clarified that he presently has no intentions of reconnecting with his estranged brother. Prince William also met Tom Cruise at the charity gala, where he expressed his gratitude to well-wishers and reflected on recent developments within the Royal Family. However, according to royal experts cited by the Daily Mail, the future monarch is not down to broach the topic of his brother, Prince Harry.
