Nonetheless, one thing that has remained constant in this entire rollercoaster ride from her once-revolutionary-royal to the polarized royal-esque status is her untarnished fashion flair. 

Meghan Markle recently flaunted yet another breathtaking piece of fashion that might have served more than one purpose. 

Meghan Markle attended Paley Honors Gala dinner in Beverly Hills- the good old hub for silver screen and glamourous A-listers. And the Duchess made sure to add to the glam quotient of the gala with the tried-and-true formulae of blending a classic black gown with sparkling diamonds. She wore an approximately $36000 worth Fortuna necklace with over 17 carats of diamonds at the event. The jewellery piece was inspired by the Roman goddess of fortune and luck, whose blessings might be exactly what the Duchess needs at the moment.

Meghan Markle is currently plugging away at Netflix for the last stretch of her $100 million deal. The couple, through their Archewell Productions, announced a couple of shows for the streaming giant last year. However, one of them, Polo, has already been declared a  flopperoo by the fans, just from the trailer. And now all eyes are on Markle’s upcoming cooking show, which again will serve a dual purpose.

Netflix is handling the merchandising of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. Meaning, fans should expect the release of both Markle’s untitled culinary show and her brand launch concurrently, or around the same time. As per a report from Page Six, this double launch would happen early in the year 2025. And that is not all in the rare streak of positive developments the sussexes recently had. 

Their charity, The Archewell Foundation, also saw a huge leap in their funding recently. However, despite these refreshing feats, on the flip side, Markle and Prince Harry have allegedly separated, professionally. And it is still uncertain whether Markle’s upcoming Netflix project would make a real difference or her dream of making it big in Hollywood in the second innings will come crashing down.
