The British Royal Family is always in the news, but the world is obsessed more than ever post King Charles III’s coronation. The recent royal fashion was all about formals, these big bright hats and grand capes. From King Charles’s extravagant Robe of State to Queen Camila’s white embroidered gown, there was nothing that was amiss. Even the celebs invited, like Meghan Markle, didn’t leave a single stone unturned to dress their best!

In between the grandeur of coronation, there is one royal who is still keeping it minimalistic and repeating outfits more than ever. This royal was also the one who skipped the King’s coronation to stay back in the United States for her son’s birthday.

Meghan Markle wore her favorite jacket again

To mark the occasion of Prince Archie’s fourth birthday, Meghan Markle was tapped, wearing her favorite jacket, J. Crew Perfect Lightweight Jacket. The 40-year-old Duchess of Sussex was all smiles in the arms of nature with the jacket tied around her waist, serving a sporty look as reported by InStyle. Markle sported the look with a black tank top and leggings, along with her Victoria Beckham sunglasses.

Markle was first seen wearing the jacket in the Oprah interview with the Sussexes. The jacket was seen in the clips when she was giving the house tour. The jacket was immediately sold out and was quietly discontinued by J. Crew. Recently, the brand has re-launched the jacket with a fresh look and different colors. 

Meanwhile, the Sussexes celebrated their eldest’s birthday after the coronation event.

Prince Archie’s low-key birthday celebration

Post the coronation, Prince Harry rushed home to his son to join in the birthday festivities. To reach on time, the Duke also missed the post-coronation lunch. Sources close to the couple reported to the DailyMail that the Duchess made a lemon cake for her son, using the fruit from their garden. The celebration was simple and sweet, with some of the couple’s friends and Markle’s mother joining the occasion. 

The royal couple is currently living in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. With their Archwell Foundation, the couple is trying to address issues of mental health and social justice. The duchess also started her own podcast on Spotify named ‘Archetypes,’ which was nominated for the best Pop Podcast of 2022 in the People’s Choice Awards despite all the criticism she faced.
