Continents apart, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex were at the receiving end of all criticism regarding their failing marriage. However, debunking all divorce rumors with crashing style, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared hand-in-hand at the German Games. While speculations around their breakup grew intense, various benefactors have been tightly scrutinized to substantiate the same. However, although the pair continues providing such hints, recent revelations have made it clear that they are for technical reasons. And that their marriage is clearly not on the rocks. 

Days before attending the Paralympic-style tournament, Meghan Markle made a couple of stirring appearances without her exquisite wedding ring. 

Meghan Markle’s engagement ring has become loose

Recent reports by People, however, have narrowed down the actual reason the Duchess has not been wearing the royal inheritance. The large cushion-cut diamond-centered ring has been given for servicing since People suggested the fitting for Meghan Markle has become loose over time. As is widely popular, the gems hailed exclusively from Princess Diana’s jewelry box with the help of Queen Elizabeth’s trusted jeweler. 

The most famous royal gem, that is Princess Diana’s sapphire wedding ring, went to Kate Middleton given the royal ranks. However, Markle had her lesser but equally significant share from her late mother-in-law as well. Prince Harry designed the exquisite piece with diamonds specially sourced from Botswana, where the couple spent time during their early courtship. Markle, however, had her way with the token of royal love.

Meghan Markle had the royal bequest modified over time. 

The original piece was gifted by Prince Harry and donned on the Duchess’ finger till 2019. However, prior to one year of the infamous Megxit, the Duchess replaced the original gold band with a thin micropave band. This is the second time Markle has given the ring for more furnishings. Nonetheless, although she did not have her engagement ring on, her wedding band of gold sparkled at the games. 

Along with the bracelets and other accessories, Duchess Meghan Markle had her wedding ring made up of pure Welsh Gold. The royals and their obsession with Welsh jewelry is not unknown. Not only with the new age royals, this family obsession has forever prevailed in the House of Windsor ever since the time of Queen Mother’s wedding in 1923.
