After months of dreaded silence, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is finally back to breaching the news headlines for the royals. The former American actress had made no public appearance following their Netflix bombshell docuseries in December 2022. Meanwhile, King Charles’ coronation too did not have any Sussex news overpowering it. However, 10 days after the royal spectacle, Meghan Markle is back in town for probably the most eventful month for the Sussexes, in the entire year. 

Last night, royal spectators were rendered speechless as they saw the Hollywood Princess make a thrilling comeback. As announced months earlier, the Duchess appeared in the heart of America, in New York, to receive the Ms. Foundation’s Women of Vision Award. The Duchess was all smiles as she was accompanied by her beloved husband, Prince Harry, and mum, Doria Ragland. More than the award show, it was Markle’s bold yet breathtaking attire that became the talk of the town in no time. 

The Duchess donned a glittering gold strapless bodycon outfit for Tuesday night. Johanna Ortiz specially designed the figure-hugging attire, which had a front-facing slit to add to its grandeur. Adding to it was a small diamond cut out on her front. Markle adorned her event look with a pair of gold and diamond jewelry complementary to the shimmering outfit. 

Lastly, the Sussex icon had a pair of strappy heels with similar gold accents completing her ensemble. Her sleek luscious waves were parted into a side, adding the final touches to her glam makeup look. 

However, keeping aside the lustrous outfit, Meghan Markle quite proved that you look good by actually doing good. 

Meghan Markle delivered a powerful speech for the Women of Vision Awards 

Reminiscing about how feminist activists inspired her in her younger days, Meghan Markle affirmed that she now understands the significance of their contribution to society. She recalled a lot about how Ms. Magazine had a powerful impact on her ever since she was just a child. It was then that it signaled to her, “that substance mattered.” 

Narrating how ideas took shape in her mind as she looked up great influencers, Markle evolved from a young voice to a grown female activist. The event marked the 50th anniversary of the Women of Vision organization, which has been celebrating generations of progress and power for years on end.
