Serena Williams is currently hosting the 2024 ESPY Awards live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Despite some controversy, the day turned out well, with two significant votes of confidence from Prince Harry’s best friend, Williams, and wife, Meghan Markle. The Duke received the Pat Tillman Award amidst backlash, while Williams made the event even more special with a warm shout-out as she welcomed the royalties she has often been found hanging out with.

Taking a subtle jab at the relentless media scrutiny of the Sussex couple, Williams humorously advised Markle and the Prince not to breathe too much, joking that she did not want to be overshadowed by accusations of them taking up too much oxygen and ruining her night.
