The Suits actress Meghan Markle had a short time in front of the public eye as a royal. But she hit it out of the park with her fashion statements. From paying homage to Princess Diana by wearing a tartan print coat in 2018 to wearing a Stella McCartney dress in honor of the Queen’s 92nd birthday, the actress always had a message behind her outfits. She further carried on this streak when she was recently photographed with her husband, Prince Harry.

The American actress has been creating style statements since her marriage with the Duke of Sussex. Further, her recent outing is a testament to the fact that an outfit can have dual meanings behind it.

Following her marriage to Prince Harry, the actress was regularly seen incorporating symbolism into her clothing. She did exactly that when she went to Camp Pendleton, a Marine Corps facility in San Diego, California, with the Prince. The Suits star looked stunning in a $1,490 Carolina Herrera Blue Cardigan. The cardigan was not just patriotic, but it also had vibrant poppies as embroidery, signifying the UK’s symbol of “remembrance” and “hope.” Prince Harry complemented his wife well as his jacket carried the symbolic emblem as well.

Often the members of the royal family have been spotted wearing poppy pins to honor the British armed services. On the same day, the actress changed into a more formal suit to attend another veteran training facility. This time, she donned a $5,000 Armani black suit and pinned a red poppy to her blazer for a patriotic touch. These garments and activities are highly important to her because her husband is a British military veteran who served in the army for ten years.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Invictus Games closing ceremony in Düsseldorf, Germany, the globe went crazy. The occasion provided an excellent opportunity for them to demonstrate their outstanding taste while also supporting a very worthy cause. But it was Meghan Markle who grabbed everyone’s attention in her breathtaking, teal-colored, strapless lace gown by Cult Gaia. However, the dress did not go down well with the media, who quickly compared it to Kate Middleton’s “minimalist” style.

The Duke and Duchess spent the evening dancing and watching Sam Ryder and Rita Ora perform. Every year, the Invictus Games are held for sick and injured service members. When the Prince took the stage, the event took an emotional turn. He stated that the impact of veterans on sports has altered the lives of millions of people all around the world. The Duke concluded the speech by saying that the veterans have taught the world that “joy can emerge from struggle.”
