At the beginning of this year, Prince Harry dropped his protocol-shattering memoir, Spare. While that may have thrown a wrench in the plans of a reconciliation between the estranged couple and the royal family, there have been rumors of yet another “bombshell memoir” by his wife, Meghan Markle. Although the speculations have not been confirmed yet, the firm seems to be a little worried about the Duchess’s plans.

There are claims that the 42-year-old could even be ready to shine a light on her version of what went down between her and the Princess of Wales. Although it has been years since the dreaded clash between them, the firm seems to be on edge regarding the rumored memoir.

Meghan Markle could take aim at Kate Middleton

Just days after it was revealed that Kate Middleton had “no desire” to speak with the Sussex couple, it seems as though experts believe that Markle’s memoir will only add fuel to the fire. Although the memoir has not been confirmed as of yet, royal experts are sharing what they think will be in it. According to Phil Dampier’s statements to Fabulous magazine as reported by the Sun, this is “the ideal opportunity” for the former actress to “put across her view of what happened.”

He also said that potential readers could get the whole story of what went down between the sisters-in-law “in the run-up to the wedding.” Most fans will remember the alleged incident where they made each other cry, but the memoir could hold untold revelations. Dampier claimed that Meghan Markle might even touch on her “relationship with Kate.”

Much like always, the Sussexes are rumored to be taking the first step to come clean about allegations, whereas the royal family still seems to be polishing their stiff upper lip.

While it is no surprise that Meghan Markle is not the firm’s favorite, the royal expert claimed that the royal family would be “very concerned” about what she could put on paper. Phil Dampier added that they could “assume the worst and brace themselves” for more startling revelations. After being “shocked” by Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, the royals are on edge about what Markle’s memoir could hold.

Without confirmation of the Suits star’s memoir, the royals have nothing to fear as of yet. However, if Meghan Markle’s rumored memoir becomes a reality, it could potentially end any hope of reconciliation among the now estranged family. Although the mention of a book by the Duchess is enough to drive her supporters wild, the whole thing is only an assumption at the moment.
