Meghan Markle's Hollywood flame appears to be flickering, or so what many critics seem to suggest. The Duchess re-entered the glitzy world following her departure from the royal family in 2020. Initially, it seemed the Sussex couple would establish their own kingdom in Tinseltown, with promising projects and lucrative deals, but things soon took a downturn. Nevertheless, it appears the actress has found a way to turn the tide on her allegedly waning Hollywood stardom. 

As per a PR expert, Meghan Markle is leveraging her network and industry friendships to breathe new life into her Hollywood career.

At the 2023 Variety Power of Women event, Meghan Markle teased some exciting new projects on the slate. Just after the tease, reports of her new podcast deal with Lemonada Media started making headlines. There are rumors that this new podcast would be a similar version of her show Archetypes. Recently, PR expert Kayley Cornelius told Express that there is a chance Markle would bring her longtime friend Priyanka Chopra to her upcoming podcast, given that the South Asian actress was never featured on Archetypes.

Chopra has been a constant in Markle’s circle, publicly supporting the Duchess in interviews and even attending the royal wedding. Along with this new podcast, Markle announced in February that she is also going to re-release her Archetypes episodes on Spotify. Cornelius also hinted at other celebrity friends of Markle who could appear on the new podcast, including her connections from Suits days, such as Abigail Spencer and Wendell Pierce. However, there is one disappointment.

People looking forward to Markle's new podcast soon may be displeased by what The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden has to say. 

Richard Eden issued a report earlier this year confirming that Meghan Markle’s next podcast venture has hit a snag. According to the report, the podcast referred to as "the relaunch of Meghan's Archetypes podcast got pushed back to 2025". The reason is the Duchess’ upcoming projects with Netflix, which made Lemonada hesitant to greenlight the podcast’s filming around the same time.

Eden also suggested that Lemonada anticipated some "scheduling conflicts" that could occur with the Duchess handling her new brand, American Riviera Orchard, along with the podcast. However, according to Eden’s sources, the upcoming podcast has already lined up "very high-profile guests" to welcome. Considering this, although there may be some waiting involved, the Lemonada-produced podcast could potentially repair some damage done to Markle’s Hollywood career.
