Meghan Markle‘s consistently on-point style evolves with each season. This ability to handpick and speak louder through her fashion choices than her words is one that has secured the Duchess a front-row seat next to Anna Wintour long before her days of royal relevance while also making her the go-to style inspiration every season. And if said season is fall, then there is no stopping the Duchess from painting the town with her chic fall looks.

The former actress, after months of lying low and leaving fans with nothing but crumbs of casual looks, has finally risen to the occasion for Invictus Games with her style. Fortunately for fashion enthusiasts, the Invictus Games and more of the Duchess’ public appearances have aligned with fall. And Markle has already hit it out of the park with her first fall stable.

While the Duchess of Sussex has mostly dwelled into her wardrobe to fetch out bold outfits in the face of adversities, she also knows how to pick out just the right outfit for every season and occasion. Markle continued the bandwagon of noteworthy looks as she returned from Germany with her husband and attended a fundraising event in Santa Barbara. The former actress chose a beautiful black and white herringbone coat, which has already made its way to a gazillion carts.

Despite constantly being a part of royal-related headlines, Meghan Markle has always stood as an inspiration for ambitious women. While netizens have contrasting views on her other choices, there is hardly anyone who can go up against the Duchess in terms of style. In fact, the Princess of Wales is also but a fan of her fashion choices if the Internet’s observation is anything to go by.

With a plethora of light-colored outfits that have stunned audiences, Meghan Markle easily earns the title of the Queen of Muted Colors. While the Duchess would go on to state in her multi-million dollar Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, that it was a planned attempt to not clash with the royals, it also ultimately became a source of comfort. However, the times that the Duchess did step out of her closet of nude colors, it made for one of her best looks.

The most notable of Markle’s outfits in color is arguably the bright blue fitted Victoria Beckham dress. The color blue and the use of it as she stepped out for the first time since announcing that she and her husband would be stepping down as senior royals was an impeccable choice. A close second would be the emerald beauty by Emilia Wickstead that Meghan Markle wore to her final outing as a senior royal. These are just some of the key moments of the Duchess’ dynamic fashion sense.
