The ongoing royal feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has been a hot topic for quite some time now. Initially, their relationship kicked off on the right note, with the two forming a close bond immediately after meeting in January 2017. However, whispers of a widening gap between them soon started swirling within royal circles, and matters escalated even further after the Sussexes started dropping bombshell revelations following their departure from the royal scene.

As Kate Middleton now finds herself at the center of royal controversies following an amateurish attempt at photoshopping, a popular journalist speculated that how Meghan Markle should appreciate her decision to depart from the royal fold.

On Mother’s Day, Kensington Palace shared a photo of Kate Middleton with her three children. However, soon after, photo agencies claimed that the image had been manipulated. Now, the assistant editor of Mirror, Darren Lewis, suggests that this entire controversy must make Meghan Markle “feel even more vindicated“. In fact, he also claimed that all the chaos around the royal establishment might leave Kate Middleton herself wondering if she should have followed Markle’s footsteps to protect her well-being.

Lewis furthermore reflected on Meghan Markle’s wealth and her prosperous TV career before she met Prince Harry, hinting that she may not feel the necessity to return to the royal family. Approximately 24 hours after the controversial image’s publication, the Princess of Wales issued a personal apology for the photo editing. This came right after some alleged talks of reconciliation between Middleton and Markle started brewing up in the headlines.

Markle reached out to both Kate Middleton and King Charles, which hinted at a subtle effort toward reconciliation. A source also mentioned to the publication that Markle is supportive of Prince Harry’s efforts to mend family ties.
