The aftershocks of Spare are still reverberating through the royal palace. Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir rocked the royal foundation to its core and proved to be the final blow in completely cutting off the Sussexes from the royal family. And it seems Meghan Markle plans to replicate the same catastrophe with a sequel to the contentious memoir, this time sharing her struggles from the royal days.

An insider has recently hinted at Meghan Markle’s upcoming memoir and what readers might expect from it, now that the Duchess has started to revisit her royal troubles once again, after months of keeping mum. 

Meghan Markle recently appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning to unveil her new Archewell Foundation initiative. During the interview, Markle also opened up about her mental health struggles and feelings of despair when she was a royal. This sparked a new wave of speculation about the memoir that Markle is rumored to have been working on for quite some time. A source recently told Closer Magazine, “Eventually Meghan is going to want to write her memoir, Harry is going to want to update Spare”.

The source also mentioned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “will not shy away from answering questions about the royals,” even though it was reported earlier that the Duchess’s memoir would not be a royal tell-all. The former actress, in her 2022 interview with The Cut, dropped several hints about a possible memoir. “I can say anything… I have a lot to say until I don’t,” said Markle. This has become yet another cause for concern in the royal palace.

Especially for Prince William, who always has his nerves on edge whenever the Sussexes make a move, the memoir is very frustrating. 

Earlier this year, royal expert Duncan Larcombe warned that Meghan Markle’s memoir would likely be a headache and cause trouble within the Royal family. Larcombe told The Sun that the autobiography would be filled with "moans and groans" about her mistreatment as a royal. This news upset the Prince of Wales, allegedly, who could not even reach out to his brother for clarity. 

Duncan revealed that Prince William is "frustrated" by the ongoing speculation about Markle spilling royal secrets. The source also mentioned that the reason Prince William does not want to have a conversation with his brother on the subject is because his trust has flown out the window "after Harry’s scathing attacks against" him. Regardless of the truth behind the rumors, Meghan Markle’s memoir is sure to shake things up when it is finally out.
