The latest ‘Harkles’ news that has breached the top headlines is undoubtedly the fallout of Spotify and the Sussexes. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex bagged some multi-million dollar partnerships with media giants a couple of years ago. While some, like the Netflix bombshell, Harry & Meghan and Archetypes With Meghan Markle on Spotify served the purpose, others were closed off right before they could get started. The 20 million dollar deal with the Sweden giant could only produce a single podcast under the Archewell Audio imprint. Following this, the parties decided to call it quits.
The same seems to have affected the couple, especially the Duchess, since her latest appearance does not seem to be as pleasant as it usually is. Meghan Markle‘s latest appearance, as reported by The Mail, has made it evident that the falling out of the deals has not been going really well for the couple. The former American actress was not seen in her usual happy-go-around form in her latest pictures.

Just a day before Buckingham Palace basked in the grandiose celebrations for the King’s Trooping The Colour Parade, Meghan Markle came out for a walk down the streets in Montecito, looking all tensed. The 41-year-old kept it all casual in a striped jumper paired with black skinny jeans. For the footwear, she went with her all-time favorite ballet flats that had emerged as quite a Meghan Markle effect during her early years in the United Kingdom. Forever a minimalist, she wore minimal make-up with her hair laid straight.
The Duchess is usually seen in high spirits even if she is hitting rock bottom. However, her latest pictures portray her disturbed countenance, creating quite a stir. But why did the Spotify deal end?
Spotify cited lack of Content for ending deal with Meghan Markle
Reports have it that Spotify, miffed with the lack of content, has called it quits with the Sussex-owned Archewell. The joint official statements, however, cited that the two have “mutually agreed to part ways”. Thus, the twelve-episode award-winning podcast with the Duchess was their first and also the last product of the deal. The media giant confirmed that they were not renewing Markle’s podcast. Although, there had been quite a demand for it upon Archetypes’ success.

The giant even laid off its staff quite recently. Experts had already given the heads-up for this upcoming turmoil. Meanwhile, Markle might have yet another reason to rejoice. Reports have it that her US hit sitcom, Suits is hitting the screens on Netflix once again, exactly on the same day as King Charles’ big day. It is also pertinent to note that the Duke and the Duchess were not an invitee to the royal spectacle.
