In fact, she earned herself some top-tier ever-supporting pals from the industry who have had her back for ages. One of them has been the global icon, Priyanka Chopra, who seems to have rekindled her support for the Duchess by throwing shade at her apparent royal rival, Kate Middleton. 

The feud between the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex comes as no new surprise. Time and again, the two royal women have been at loggerheads, although the Palace tried its best to cover the chaos. However, it all went public, when Prince Harry himself confessed to the feud in the bombshell Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan. This time around, it is the all-time supporter of the Duchess, Priyanka Chopra in her latest hit Citadel, who has stated quite a vulgar comment on Middleton in one of her dialogues.

In one of the scenes, replying to the front character, Priyanka Chopra’s Basto asks, “The chief of armed forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the legs of the Duchess of Cambridge.” Although, the scene lasted not more than a few minutes in the episode. A couple of moments spoke a thousand words about the dynamics of her relationship with the royal family.

Meanwhile, reports have it that Jonas and Meghan Markle’s friendship has aged like fine wine.

The actress made a huge comeback to the industry with Russo Brothers’ highly-anticipated spy thriller, Citadel. Although the franchise went up the charts days after it hit our screen, a crude remark about the Princess of Wales has been taking social media by storm. Three episodes into the season, Chopra’s lead character of a criminal mastermind, Balduino Basto, discusses a deal with the military.

As stated by reports of NDTV, the Citadel actress and the former Suits actress have their friendship rooted in their shared profession. They became quite close as Chopra was making headlines for Quantico. Meanwhile, the now Duchess was still at the pinnacle of her career for the legal show on Netflix. 

Both the stars posted pictures on social media as they went on hangouts together. The two of them also share somewhat similar attributes of advocating for women and their rights throughout their life.
