Hollywood has a colossal influence on a global scale and its grandeur would not have been what it is today without the contribution of women who have played pivotal and transformative roles in the industry. Even when the industry was falling apart during the SAG-AFTRA strikes, many women were actively involved in negotiations and also tried to navigate guild rules related to labor stoppages.

Meghan Markle may have taken a departure from her acting career, but she has been a constant driving force in the Hollywood industry through her Archewell Productions. For Variety’s red carpet, Markle donned an elegant beige gown with a gracefully falling sleeve on one side. She complemented her look with clean minimalistic makeup and a sleek hairdo. The Duchess of Sussex accessorized her look with a small black clutch. Apart from Markle, celebrities like Billie Eilish and Margot Robbie were also in attendance.

Billie Eilish opted for an all-black ensemble for the Power of Women event at Citizen News in LA on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie flaunted a brown off-the-shoulders gown on the red carpet. Majority of the celebrities, including Sofia Carson, Carey Mulligan, Tia Mowry, and Addison Rae, dressed in all-black attire for the event. For Meghan Markle, however, this was not the first time she received an honor for her impact as a woman.
