Ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle tied their knot at the St George’s Chapel, they have been of paramount importance to each other. Nothing has ever come for them before family, and regardless of the lows, they have firmly adhered to their ideologies. Last year’s Netflix Bombshell was striking evidence of how the duo can fight the world just for the sake of their family of four. However, little did we know that Prince Harry would go to any extent, so much as a legal war against the UK tabloids. 

The Prince is two days into the historic court battle at London’s High Court. While the Duke presented a 55-page-long witness statement, he took to the Witnesses box to speak up about his allegations against some of the powerful media giants of the Kingdom. The Duke fearlessly survived the courtroom high-wire act. However, there came a point where he fell weak to his knees. The Duke went reportedly emotional as he finished giving his testimony on the second day at the High Court. 

“It’s a lot,” he affirmed as his court proceedings came to an end on Wednesday. However, he did not hold back from revealing the actual reason behind all the trouble he was taking. The Sussex Prince told the open court with the world’s eyes fixated on him, that he has a reason to take down the publishers of some tabloids. And it was to stop “absolute intrusion and hate” directed toward him and his wife, Meghan Markle. 

It is no secret that the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex have come under extreme media scrutiny, with experts and critics keeping a tab on them around the clock. Ever since they stepped down as the senior working members of the royal family, the duo has become a subject of controversy for the UK press.

Upon their renunciation, the couple washed its hands of the high-profile royal security that came along with being a senior member of the House of Windsor. However, following the withdrawal of the security, the Sussexes have been susceptible to various mishaps across the pool. The recent near-catastrophic car chase was one of them. They also had reports barging into their premises to stalk down the couple and the family. 

In the Netflix bombshell, Harry & Meghan, the Duchess, nearly broke down about how the media scrutiny came at the cost of their lives to the British press. “This is not just a story. You are making me scared,” remarked the Duchess, with tears rolling down before the camera.
