These have been a couple of rocky months for the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. While Spotify and Archewell mutually busted their 20 million deal, speculations of financial disruptions and personal disturbances surrounded the pair. However, the pair, along with their adorable bundle of joys, put up a full show of unity and strength on the 4th of July parade in their hometown Montecito. Recent reports have claimed that the family of four was planning on something bigger, but the media pressure marred it all. 

According to a recent report by Mirror via New Magazine, “they had a huge party planned at their home”. However, they canceled just three days of the celebrations. The report further added that the Duchess, Meghan Markle, did not have any option but to call off the party. However, the reasons behind the same have further added to their tensions following the busted deal with Spotify. 

They had, in fact, decorated their splendid garden with “erected gazebos” for the party. Unfortunately, their aid soon took them off as Markle instructed the party planners to call off. Their guests who had received the invitation for the closely knitted get-together received a tremendous blow, said the issue.

The reasons behind the same, although unsure, quite add up to the current scenario of the California royals. 

Why did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry cancel the party?

According to an extended report by publications such as GBNews, there had been swirling speculations about the Duke and Duchess post their fallout with the Swedish media giant. Their dead ends with Spotify thus triggered more harmful effects on their other allies, like Netflix and WME. Although the American streamer has stood tall, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly lost their cool at the ravaging media and speculation reports.

The couple was furious at the rumors that said their “Netflix deal was under threat” even if nothing of such a sort had been confirmed by the authorities. CEO of the streaming giant has in fact strengthened their ties with the Sussexes in a statement. The steamer looks up to their partnership, claiming their deal so far has proved fruitful to both parties.
