In the history of the royal family, no feud has received more public scrutiny than the one between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. Now, the Suits star’s styling choices at the Invictus Games have been decoded and compared to how Middleton would have approached the event.

What would Kate Middleton have done differently at the Invictus Games?

An action may speak a thousand words but so can an outfit right? Well, according to experts who spoke to Great Britain News, Markle’s exorbitantly priced jade green dress at the finale night of the Invictus Games may have not been the perfect fit for the event, particularly due to the noble cause the games support. They suggested that if the Princess of Wales was in her situation, she may have chosen something more “minimalistic” and “sensitive” to the occasion. 

After all, the 41-year-old princess is known to rock more affordable and locally sourced pieces. In contrast, the Duchess of Sussex’s eye-catching strapless Cult Gaia gown’s £200,000 price tag seemed excessive to them. On top of this, she had added some blinged-out accessories to the ensemble as well. However, no one questioned this shift in style from her previous outfits. 

Even the previous outfits that she wore at the multi-day event were among her best ones. 

How Meghan Markle slayed with back-to-back stunning fits

Previously, Markle had mostly gone for gentle hues at the Invictus Games. On the day she arrived in Düsseldorf, the 42-year-old donned a monochromatic casual look that caught many eyes. Later, her button-up Carolina Herrera dress managed to achieve the same effect. However, the most elegant of all was how she incorporated two bright coats into her formal suit looks, especially since the beige and white tones suited her so well. 

After the event concluded this year, the mother of two graced the site of a woman-led initiative at a German cafe. Similar to the theme of her previous fits, she chose a gray ensemble for the visit. From being a fashion icon to constant comparisons to her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle surely tends to take it all in stride and carry on with her many missions in life.
