The December warmers have been packed up for the next year, but it looks like Meghan Markle is finding it hard to let go of the festive season. Naturally so since the winter season brings close dear ones after the tedious schedules throughout the year, Markle’s holding onto it for a little longer makes all the more sense. Hence, defying the February sweats, Markle recently made space out of her busy schedule to join her girlfriends for a ski trip.

As snaps surged in from the memorable getaway, Markle looked all smiles with her close friends and the little charmers of their ski crew.

Being part of the royal household often takes Markle on work trips across oceans and borders. Sometimes it leaves her the scope to get away with her children and Prince Harry as well, but personal trips have been a rare sight for the busy royal. However, recently Meghan Markle made her decision to pack her bags to set off for the snowy slopes of Powder Mountain near Salt Lake City in Utah with Heather Dorak and Kelly McKee Zajfen and their children. Soon after, both her girlfriends posted a ski dump on their Instagram while expressing their gratefulness for successfully executing the trip.

As the snowy sunlit snaps bore witness to a remarkable family and friends’ time, both Dorak and Zajfen mentioned how their bellies hurt after the long sessions of laughter pills. For Zajfen, this trip was sure “one for the books”. While they also looked forward to more such trips in the future, knowing the royal fans, they would be just as welcoming to see their favorite royal cracking healthy jokes while blanketing herself in the haven of forever bonds. 

While fans looked more than relieved to watch Markle embark on a friends’ retreat, the same was, however, far from true about her three-day Canada trip with Prince Harry.

Being royals is no cakewalk and the thorough surveillance that the Sussex couple undergoes is an eye-opening testament to it. While controversies have been longtime allies with the pair, a fresh round of conflict surged in after the reports of their jet trip to Canada surfaced. Reportedly, the pair had set off on their Bombardier 605 for two back-to-back trips from Santa Barbara to Vancouver to Victoria. 

As active advocates of climate change, these recurrent jet trips were disappointing to fans who thought the pair made an about-turn on their commitments. Oli London pointed out on X (formerly Twitter) how these lavish trips led to a possible emission of 4 tonnes of CO2. While that dismay followed the fans for a while, it seems like they might have gotten over the same since Markle’s recent trip did nothing but delight them.
