Meghan Markle Gushes Over “amazing” Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Vows to Shield Them From Online Scrutiny
Meghan Markle, ever since she was linked to the royals, has seen the ugly side of media and the internet. From constant trolling to the harsh scrutiny by tabloids, the actress-turned-Duchess knows all too well the price of living in the limelight. However, the Sussexes have always maintained that one does not need to be a household name to face the pitfalls of the digital world, which is essentially why both Markle and Prince Harry have been all in on raising awareness about the same through their charity organization.
Markle, recently, talked about wanting to protect her own children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, from the harmful digital world, while also helping the masses understand how to guide their kids in this age.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently gave an interview with Jane Pauley, which will air on CBS Sunday Morning on August 4. In a preview clip of the chat, the Duchess talked about her “amazing” 5-year-old Prince Archie and 3-year-old Princess Lilibet, and how she wants to “protect” them in the online space. “We’re just happy to be able to be a part of change for good,” said the Suits alum.
This is maybe why Archewell Foundation always seems to be very serious about creating a safe space for children. In fact, their first-ever summit in October 2023 focused on the mental health challenges in the digital world that both children and their parents face. And now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again taking on a tour to spread awareness about the same across different parts of the world.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking on their second tour this year, just three months after their controversial visit to Nigeria.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Nigeria in May of this year in connection with their Invictus Foundation. However, their trip caused a lot of outrage among fans, and allegedly spurred some tension in the royal family as well. The reason being, the visit was seen as a faux royal tour by ex-royal members, which many fans took issue with. Undeterred by the backlash, the Sussexes would soon embark on another four-day tour, this time to Colombia.
The tour was recently announced by the Vice President of Colombia and Minister of Equality and Equity, Francia Márquez. The Sussexes are slated to visit Bogotá, Cartagena, and Cali to understand the heritage of Colombia. They are also bringing their Archewell Foundation mission of creating a safer digital space for children with them, with a summit. And with such a commitment to creating a healthier online community, Markle should be well-equipped to shield her children from its darker side.
