During Meghan Markle’s seven-year run on Suits, her character mostly became well-known for her passionate romance with Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, with whom she also happens to share a close bond in real life. In fact, their on-screen chemistry was so electric that it had everyone discussing any off-screen romance possibilities. While those rumors never really panned out, the co-stars have kept their friendship going strong, even after the now-Duchess waved goodbye to her acting days. 

Adams, recently, brought back memories of the beloved Rachel Zane with a sweet Suits throwback post on Instagram.

Patrick J. Adams is one of the few Suits stars who has stayed connected to the show even after it ended. Now, he is running his own podcast called Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast, where he discusses all things related to the legal drama. Just before releasing his upcoming episode titled Dirty Little Secrets, he shared some rarely-seen photos of the Suits crew, which included a shot of Meghan Markle’s Rachel Zane.

The candid photo of Markle really took fans back to her iconic role in the show. Although there were several other interesting shots, including Adams apparently trying his hands at cinematography, it seemed like everyone was focused on the shoutout to Markle. In the upcoming episode of his podcast, Adams plans to explore, as he put it, “some misunderstandings about my towering height and tackle the mystery of why Jessica has no assistant”. This heartwarming throwback comes right after Adams revealed Meghan Markle’s reaction to his podcast.

It turns out that Adams reached out to his Suits co-star before launching his new project, making sure they were okay with the format. 

Earlier this month, Patrick J. Adams made an appearance on the Today Show to chat about his new podcast, Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast, which he launched back in September. He shared that he discussed the idea for the podcast with all his cast members, including Meghan Markle, going over what the show would and would not cover. The actor mentioned that the Duchess of Sussex quickly expressed her support for the project, but that is not even the most exciting part.

Markle even offered herself as a potential future guest on the podcast, which Adams has seemingly been looking forward to. “She’d love to come and help in any way possible,” Adams said about her response. While Markle has mostly stayed away from all the fun during the Suits resurgence last year, there is hope that Sidebar might finally push the former actress to talk about her time on the show again.
