Four years have passed since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shook the very foundations of the corridors of power. As the Duke, under the camouflage of Invictus' anniversary celebration, makes a return to the royal land, every fan is holding out hope for a reunion between the estranged family members. However, according to recent reports, the Duchess is not particularly enthusiastic about this much-anticipated reunion, which may or may not materialize. Still, there is an apprehension in her mind about the repercussions if the reunion does not pan out. 

An expert has lent weight to Meghan Markle's top concern as her family edges away from the royal orbit. 

The geographical gap between Meghan Markle and the UK, along with her detachment from the royal family has become a reason to worry for the mother of two. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn revealed that Markle, according to a select few of her aristocratic acquaintances from her UK days, is worried that her children would "blame" her if they were robbed of what could have been a fulfilling and prestigious existence within the UK's royal fold.

The expert, however, also asserted that it will be quite a while before the former actress sets foot in the UK again. Having already declared publicly that she has no intention of returning to the UK, and with insiders claiming that she will not be able to "forgive" the royals, it is unlikely for her to participate even if there is going to be a potential reunion. While Markle is allegedly not letting go of the slights, there are signs that the frostiness from the other side is beginning to melt.

According to an insider speaking to Page Six, the monarch "desperately" wants to “see the children”. They also mentioned that the King might want to mend fences with his family because he believes "life is just too short". However, with speculation about Meghan Markle possibly not joining the UK visit, and not reportedly willing to blend in with the royals again, it is unclear if Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will ever get to experience growing up in the royal world.
