Meghan Markle is not enjoying the same friendships she once did. The Duchess has been drifting apart from some of her closest Hollywood pals. Earlier this year, she dropped a hint herself when she gifted a limited batch of her brand's Jams- seemingly overlooking some of her former close friends, like Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, and George Clooney. However, it is not just her high-profile friends- she is also growing apart from some of her old buddies. But, as they say, where there is smoke, there is always fire.

A royal commentator recently shared what could be pushing Meghan Markle’s friends to keep their distance from the Duchess.

Meghan Markle recently attended the Los Angeles Children's Hospital Gala. While she was interacting with celebrities at the event, royal commentator Ingrid Seward pointed out the 43-year-old’s growing distance from old friends. Speaking to The Sun, Seward claimed that the Duchess of Sussex “has managed to alienate” her old friends. “She does something which is very distressing for people,” said the royal expert. 

Seward added that this happens every time someone makes Markle unhappy. "I think that people are just fed up with Meghan,” she stated. Markle’s former friend, Lizzie Cundy once claimed in her book, Tales from the Red Carpet, that the Duchess “ghosted” her after she became a royal. Markle was also tight with Jessica Mulroney, but she stepped back after the marketing consultant found herself in a bit of a scandal.

While Markle is being branded as a bad friend now, the recent claims of her being a toxic boss seem to be losing steam.

Meghan Markle's former bodyguard, Steve Davies, recently opened up about his time working with the Duchess. He told InTouch Weekly that it was not easy for the former actress to overhaul her entire life in such a short span. The Duchess was reportedly struggling to handle the overwhelming media attention and scrutiny surrounding her. But despite all that pressure, she never treated her staff poorly.

Davies described Markle as "warm and considerate all the time”. He also expressed that it “hurts” him to see people hold such a negative view of her. And he is not the first to come to the defense of the Suits star amid these startling allegations. Now, it remains to be seen who will stand up for Markle against these new claims about her allegedly problematic personality as a friend.
