None of the family dramas nor even the King’s coronation can perhaps stop Meghan Markle from achieving what she has set her eyes on. Before crossing paths with her Prince Charming, the former American actress was plotting her route through the bits and parts of British glamor. However, she then married the Duke of Sussex, and well rest is history.

But it so happened that these historical turns of events brought her back to her initial objective. Following Megxit, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swore not to depend on the royal household for even a penny. And they evidently did not take long to kick start their own endeavors. For all we know, her most recent deal with the Talent Agency WME is a testament to this fact. Even a Hollywood Insider chimed in to explain how it will not take long for the Duchess of Sussex to once again have her own identity.

“This deal is about making Meghan a power player in Hollywood,” the insider, who believes Markle’s intentions are to become the “Queen of Hollywood”, stated in a chat with Page Six. He further said that although the Duchess is an actress, she now wants to “run the show.” The deal is not essentially about the gigs Markle would star in, but the ones she may produce.

The Sussexes and their multimillion deals, both with Netflix and Spotify, have kick-started successfully and they are already making millions out of it. They may come up with new royal anecdotes or historical fiction throughout their 5-year deal with the streaming Giant. Markle is already launching a second season of her Spotify podcast. But it seems like that is not enough. Markle has now landed in this multimillion deal with Hollywood uber-agent Ari Emanuel’s WME.

It will not only make her a powerful entity within Hollywood, but pull her off the limelight of her husband’s royal privileges. As per various sources, it is perhaps a slam in the face of both the royal family and her estranged father and half-sibling. The deal will also fuel Markle’s (who calls herself an entrepreneur) business ideas as she sets herself to make the most use of her newly achieved freedom.
