According to OK Magazine, David Beckham invited the California-based royals to the match to put their feud in the past and move on with a new beginning. However, Markle did not attend the match, leaving the Prince to attend it alone. This is said to be done by the Duchess to prevent any “awkward run-ins” with Victoria Beckham.

At BMO Stadium, the Duke of Sussex appeared to be enjoying the match with great spirits, along with other guests. He donned a black shirt and matching trousers and charmed his way throughout the event. Along with the Sussexes, celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Gerard Butler, Tom Holland, and many others also received an invitation.

Even Selena Gomez was seen alongside David Beckham’s daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz-Beckham. Yet no signs of Meghan Markle at the stadium raised many questions among fans. While the Prince was trying to mend the relationship, Markle wanted to avoid the awkward union with the Beckhams. Just days ago, the Prince and the 42-year-old appeared to be enjoying Beyoncé’s concert in Los Angeles. But while attending other events in the USA, why did the mother of two ditch the invitation from David Beckham? What really happened between them?
