It is no secret that the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had rocked the royal family’s stodgy status quo from the very beginning. The strict protocols that were made bounding each member of the royal family failed to establish their grip on the pair. Although the two were trying their best to chug along as the senior members of the royal family, things were not exactly falling into place. Furthermore, all hell broke loose the day they preceded the unprecedented by selling out the gospel truths about the innards of the royal family. 

Thus, Markle’s entry into the royal family undoubtedly resulted in a never-before jolt to The Firm. It also catered to it with something it needed the most, fanfare and publicity. The entire world had probably envisaged Meghan Markle as a groundbreaking force of change in the age-old Monarchy to better suit the 21st Century. Royal expert Valentine Low is precisely of the same opinion as Hindustan Times reported. The expert claimed that palace insiders felt Markle “never really wanted to be accepted by the Royal Family”. 

In a way, she was not the one to seek any approval from the royal family. However, the expert further claimed things could have been drastically different today if the Duchess was willing to run lines with The Firm. Without relinquishing their roles, if they had tried to adjust to the family, the outcome could have been beneficial to both parties. Likewise, if the family tried a bit harder, “she could have been one of the royal family’s greatest assets.” 

However, nothing of such a sort ever happened.

It was back in the dawn of the coronavirus pandemic that the pair alerted the world about their royal split. The never-before renunciation undoubtedly sent shockwaves around the world. Their infamous movement is known as Megxit to this date. The split became all the more permanent when Buckingham stripped the self-exiled couple of their royal patronages. 

The cutting of ties led to their financial independence from the Sovereign Fund of the Crown. Thus, to afford their lavish and luxurious lifestyle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got their hands on a number of multi-million dollar projects, one of which crashed and burned badly in recent months.
