The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle‘s entry into the English landed gentry, had sent clear indications of disruptions in the royal ethos. Although the royal women are known for their adherence to the protocols, Markle was never to go with the tribe. The former American actress’ unison in the royalty was a break with traditions in the first place. And so it happened, Markle had her own ways in the Palace in a few instances. The royal experts and tabloid moguls have always kept her under fire for the same. However, despite her renunciation with the UK Sovereigns, Markel strives to do whatever she deems fit. 

Be it royal outfits or certain palace-befitting etiquettes, Markle was never one to bend by the laws. Moreover, after the royal split, she is no more obliged to make a note of them at all. The California royal made her recent public appearance in the markets of Montecito. While the mom of two went buying flowers and sapling honey, onlookers pointed out a clear breach of prohibited activity by the Duchess.

According to pictures obtained by Mail, Markle carried her pet beagle at the Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market on Friday. The publication further revealed that the Markets had put an explicit ban on pet dogs. Signboards from the public place read, “NO DOG ALLOWED” with the only exceptions being service animals. Thus, Markle’s presence with her beagle created quite a stir among onlookers.

There are a lot of instances that would go on the list. However, the most prominent of them left a significant mark on her royal history during her time in the United Kingdom. Before the infamous Megxit, while Meghan Markle was still serving in affiliation with the British Crown, she committed some breaches of royal protocols that gave rise to tensions among royal members. 

A handful of them include announcing Prince Archie’s birth through the social media handle Instagram, giving political opinions on national matters, and bringing American-style fashion choices into the royal premises. The U.K. parliamentary rules out opinions by anyone from the Monarchy as unconstitutional. Thus, claiming herself as a feminist and others, was a strict no-no in the palace. Nonetheless, such a bold stance against the norm made her admirable in some eyes.
