Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be leaving their bad luck behind. While the Sussex couple faced a couple of failed endeavors last year, they seem to have put on a brave face and dived right into planning next year’s Invictus Games. Just days after spending Valentine’s Day together in Canada to check out the Winter Training Camp, the couple have concluded their trip in quite a grand way.

The Sussex couple visited British Columbia to kick off the Invictus Games Countdown celebrations. After 3 days of meeting athletes and other officials, they closed out their last night in town with an extravagant banquet.

According to reports from People, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent their last day in Vancouver at the One Year to Go Dinner. The dinner was held as a countdown celebration to the upcoming Invictus Games, which will take over the world next year. At the dinner, the couple had stolen the show not only with their fabulous dressing sense but also with some sweet words that they shared with everyone present.

After Michael Buble performed a re-written medley of Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, the Duke took the stage to thank everyone in attendance “for being here tonight and for your commitment to making Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 possible.” While the games are still a year away, there is no doubt that fans all around the world will try to tune in to watch veterans get a little piece of themselves back.
