The royals of Sussex shed their royalties in the initial days of 2020. Moving to California to start their new life, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have come a long way. Since then, the couple have gone on to work on their production house, Archewell Productions. They even collaborated with Netflix for their Harry & Meghan documentary and Heart of Invictus. All of their works have shed light on their relationship with the family back in the UK. Naturally, the two have been met by resilience from the family and the staff working for the family alike.

As the Queen’s first death anniversary approaches, the former royal butler has some thoughts about the Megxit couple.

The royal butler holds the couple in not-so-royal regard. In an exclusive interview with Mirror, Paul Burrell revealed how he believes the couple would “go rogue” during Queen’s first death anniversary. According to Burrell, Prince Harry would be thinking up a stunt to perform. He even called him the “prodigal sonfor doing all things differently and straying away from the family. The “going rogue” claim was backed by the actions of the Sussexes last year. Hours after the late Queen’s service in London last year, the couple had their own version of Remembrance Day in LA.

The royal family would not deem a similar “public demonstration of grief” appropriate. Moreover, the royal protocol is to stay underground as a gesture of grief. Prince Harry’s public attempts to showcase it would not land right with the family. Burrell added, “He’s always going to be the villain. He’s cast himself as the villain. So he has to now play the role of the villain.”
