Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced a few difficulties this year. From the falling through of their Spotify podcast deal, Archetypes, to the Royal Family’s website update, things have been rather grim for the couple. But back in 2021, the Duke and Duchess announced their second Netflix collaboration. However, since many fans were still not completely over the first collaboration, the second may have caught a lot of people off guard.

The couple’s first six-part documentary, Harry & Meghan, was not met with a positive response. However, the couple had better plans the second time around. And after a long wait, they finally introduced the world to Heart of Invictus. After the five-part limited series aired on 30 August, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the internet split over the series.

But that was not all. With all the world watching, it came as no surprise that users immediately took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to find out how other users felt about the series that followed Prince Harry’s Invictus Games that were held in 2022. But what came as a surprise was the fact that the couple had completely divided the internet yet again.

While the series may have given veterans a platform, users were torn in two about how they felt about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s latest endeavor.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry divide the internet

A day after the limited series dropped, the Invictus Games Foundations page asked their followers on X if they had watched the series yet. And while many users instantly took to the platform to express how much they loved it, there were those who were still not buying what the couple was selling.

But other users immediately chimed in to express the gratitude they had for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who were recently forced to “suck it up”, for giving veterans a platform as big as this. It gave them a chance to not only reconnect with things they loved but a place to share their stories.

Some users had the right intentions but may have been a little more focused on other things, like getting a soundtrack.
