.Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made quite an impact after their ‘Megxit’ from the royal family. The Duchess and Duke of Sussex are on the news lately for a variety of reasons. However, we will take a look at one of their slightly quiet updates. Recently, they revamped their Archewell website, giving it a new appearance and a profound message. Known for their stance, on social causes, the couple has now incorporated a word that embodies their vision and principles: equality.
The Archewell website, launched in 2020, serves as a platform for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s philanthropic and creative endeavors. It features podcasts and documentaries on Spotify and Netflix along with stories, photos, and messages shared with the public. Recently, the homepage underwent a significant change as they now prioritize ‘Gender Equality.’
Archewell has now pledged support to Equimundo’s The State of the World’s Fathers 2023 report focusing on men’s involvement in caregiving. The report draws insights from interviews with men and women across 17 countries, revealing a growing desire among men to take on caring responsibilities at home. However, societal norms and a lack of policies create barriers that discourage them from doing so.
