Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Omid Scobie’s “meal ticket”, Claims Richard Eden Amidst Endgame “error”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have spent the last few years in the spotlight. While they dominated headlines for months with rumors of a bombshell memoir by the Duchess herself, eventually it was their former friend, Omid Scobie who ended up putting out a rather surprising book. The said book ended up in hot waters after Netherlands bookstores pulled the book due to the printing of the names of two senior royal family members who were caught up in a borderline racist comment.
Now, after the dust has settled, a royal expert has his claims about the book and its intentions.

Just a few days ago, the world went into a frenzy when it came to light that Omid Scobie’s book about the royal family, Endgame, had revealed the identity of the royal family members who were “concerned” about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s firstborn son, Archie. Now, royal expert Richard Eden has shared in an interview with the Daily Mail that he believed the author had done “his master’s bidding” by releasing the names.
He went on to say that Scobie would not do anything that would “upset” his “meal ticket”, meaning that he thought that the incident was not an “error” as the author had said before. However, both the Duke and Duchess have not addressed the situation yet. In fact, they have not brought up this incident since back in 2021 when they stunned the world on Oprah Winfrey’s show.
While Scobie’s book might be getting a lot of criticism right now, the backlash actually began after Prince William got to read the book ahead of its launch.

Weeks before the whole Dutch mishap, Prince William shared his thoughts on the book written by Omid Scobie, Endgame. While the author claimed to no longer be close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, his storytelling seemed to show the older brother in somewhat of a bad light. In fact, it even ended up leaving the Wales royal upset that his brother could make up claims such as him ignoring his calls.
While the matter may seem rather petty, the book claimed that the 41-year-old had avoided his brother’s calls during their grandmother’s final moments. Although the world might never know what actually happened during those emotionally-driven moments, one thing was for sure, Prince William was not a fan of Scobie’s book.
