Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have persistently taken action to impact the world positively. Despite leaving their royal status behind, the Duke and the Duchess have proactively served people. Whether it was through their Paralympics sports championship to uplift the spirits of veterans or helping minority communities with their non-profit charitable organization Archewell, the Sussexes have time and again showcased their regal credentials. And now, they are taking a step forward to address another pressing concern. 

The Sussexes are making their return to the Big Apple to celebrate World Mental Health Day. In this event, the Duke and the Duchess will take up an alarming issue that has been a cause of distress for many.

In this era of technology, a lack of digital education can easily lead people down the wrong path. This is exactly what has been happening with kids around the world. Taking place on the 10th of October, The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age would focus on creating a safer digital habitat and spreading awareness about its shortcomings. As reported by People Magazine, the Sussexes will be addressing the concerns of parents who are suffering because of their children’s social media use.

This would be Markle and the Prince’s first in-person Archewell Foundation event. The summit will also provide a platform for them to open up about their mental health challenges in the digital world. The global cooperation is one of the most prominent themes of the Sussexes’s Archewell Foundation. As per the report, the Sussexes will talk about fostering this cooperation to empower families and promote mental well-being.

Over the years, there has been a positive change in the air of Britain as people are now beginning to acknowledge their participation. Numerous celebrities across the globe now celebrate this auspicious event in October.

Two years back, the Harry and Meghan stars also celebrated Black History Month with a virtual poetry class. The Sussexes recited their favorite poetry lines to the children of the Get Lit organization. Two years following the event, Prince Willian and Princess Katherine paid a visit to the members of the Windrush generation to mark the occasion. The Prince and Princess of Wales acknowledged the minority community’s contribution to Wales and also listened to their grievances.
