Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Foundation Makes a Giant Donation Despite Backlash

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have now garnered a reputation for being criticized no matter where they go, but the couple has also remained constant in their efforts to improve lives through their Archewell Foundation and more such ventures. Despite being thrown under the bus recently for allegedly staging a photo op during the LA wildfires, the couple has continued to be unstoppable in its efforts to help the victims.

Given that the 'touring the damage' approach did not bear any sweet fruits for the couple, moving forward, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a sizeable donation to a special foundation.

In such trying times as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did to their level best what could be done; opened the doors of their homes for their loved ones, encouraged the people to support one another, donated to relief organizations, and met those who were affected. While this latter somehow brought them unprecedented backlash, the Sussexes have remained focused as they donated to Altadena Girls Fire Recovery Fund, according to Town & Country Magazine.

The couple had donated earlier to different charities through their Archewell Foundation, but the Altadena Girls Fire Recovery Fund is a special one owing to the community it focuses on supporting. Altadena Girls Fire was started by a fourteen year old girl aiming to bring back some normalcy in the lives of teenage girls by providing them with clothes, personal items, and beauty and hair products.

While Markle and her husband's consistent efforts to help are suited for the saying with great power comes greater responsibility, the couple falls shy by one criteria; power.

From receiving deportation claims by Eric Trump to now receiving hate for interacting with the families of the victim, the couple, despite the titles that their name is followed by, have little to no security when it comes to online bashing. This, when compared to their extended family across the pond, is definitely a shocking sight.
