However, recent TMZ reports suggest that his assistant had discovered him in the jacuzzi not long after the supposed drowning. Concerned officers shared in a statement that Perry’s body showed no signs of waterlogging, which occurs due to extended exposure to water.
Notably, Matthew Perry was alone in the house when he died. He had sent his assistant on an errand before the latter discovered him. Earlier, law enforcement authorities gave a statement that they found anti-depressant drugs and COPD drugs in his house along with Nicorette patches and gum.
Following his unforeseen departure, the world has been left in shudders, be it for the fans, the celebrated cast, or his family. Several artists, including his cast and co-stars, have paid their tribute to the Friends star for being a friend till the end.

Maggie Wheeler, known for the depiction of Janice (Chandler Bing’s ex), also shared a heartwarming message on Instagram for Perry.
